The Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) has congratulated the newly-appointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Abubakar Dantsoho.
Mr. Dantsoho replaced Mohammed Bello-Koko following his disengagement as NPA Managing Director by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the National President of APFFLON, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, he commended the appointment of Dantsoho, describing him as a round peg in a round hole. Ogunojemite said that expectations are high as Dantsoho mounts the saddle as the new NPA boss.
Otunba Ogunojemite cautioned the new NPA Boss against high-handedness and arrogance, advising him to be wary of sycophants and praise singers.
Again, Ogunojemite advised the new NPA MD not to follow in the footsteps of Bello-Koko, but rather to synergize with sister agencies and relevant stakeholders to revitalize the Nigerian Ports for seamless operations and economic advancement.
