Car dealers operating at the Berger automobile market, the most populous fairly-used cars market in Africa have commended the efforts of the company in charge of the on-going rehabilitation work at its axis.
The company, Julius Berger Nigeria is currently fixing the Cement – Sunrise portion of the road along Apapa Oshodi expressway, which the traders along the axis said is laudable.
The repair work which is close to completion was initially described by the merchants as causing harm to vehicles.

A unit chairman and Director of Osa Motors Edwin Efosa , told Shipping Position Daily in his office last week that before the commencement of the project ,newly-cleared vehicles from the port used to experience all kinds of dents on their way to the park due to the failed potion of the road.
Efosa said that with such occurrences bring about price reduction on the vehicle.
According to him, the road rehabilitation has aided the dealers to repair some of the affected vehicles.
"Since Julius Berger commenced the rehabilitation works here, I must say they have tried because before now vehicles that are in good condition often suffer some level of damages on their way to the park because of the bad road".
"The construction has helped us all and it is worth commending" the dealer state.
In a similar reaction, another stakeholder; Gbenga Ashafa noted that dealers have been clamouring for the road to be upgraded because of the series of damaged it has caused to their vehicles.
According to him, there will be no problem of flooding in the park due to the good work on the road.
He also called on fellow dealers to help maintain the cleanliness of the road after its completion.
