Owners of the biggest indigenous oil company and jetty operations in Nigeria; Capital Oil and Gas, has incorporated its group of companies; Oil force Nigerian limited and the First Nigerian Independent Oil company Limited into its day to day operations.
Oil force Nigerian Limited which has been in existence prior to this time handles marketing, accounting and trade issues on behalf of the company while  First Nigerian Independent Oil Company is a new addition to the company.
The company which engages in Bulk Purchase Agreement relationship with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and its subsidiary Petroleum Product Marketing Company (PPMC) and other indigenous companies recently commissioned its ultra modern 28 arms loading gantry.
Shipping Position Weekly investigations revealed that after the commissioning of the gantries, the company has also embarked on the rebranding of all its storage tanks located at the Ibafon Jetty to carry another logo; the First Nigerian Independent Oil Company.
The depot manager of Capital Oil Nigeria Limited, Mr. Geoffrey Okorie in a chat with our correspondent confirmed that “the  new name on the tanks is not a rebranding per se, the company has decided to bring together its sister companies which are all under the first Nigerian Independent Oil Company, under this, we have the Capital Oil and Gas and the Oil Force” he said.
According to Okorie, the companies exist under one body, but are independent of each other.
He explained that subsequent to the commissioning of the ultra modern 28 arm loading gantry by the minister of petroleum Mrs. Deziani Allison Madueke, Capital oil had divided the gantries among its sister companies to operate.
Giving the statistics, he said that First Nigeria Independent Oil Company operates 20 of the gantries; Capital oil operates two, while the Oil Force Nigerian limited also runs two of the gantries.
