Cosco will increase rates for reefer shipments on the Asia-North Europe and Mediterranean trades by $1,200 per 20-foot-equivalent unit and $1,500 per 40-foot-equivalent unit, effective Jan. 1, 2013.
The carrier will raise rates for all shipments in the Far East to Gulf & Red Sea Trade by $100 per TEU, effective Jan. 1, 2013.
It also will hike rates for all shipments from Japan, Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Australia by $300 per TEU and $600 per FEU, effective Jan. 15, 2013.
