After a long session break, leading maritime training institution; EMDEE Maritime and Shipping College has official rolled out its activities for the new academic session.
Some of the activities lined up for the students include: orientation programme for both old and new student, excursions and symposia.
Others are workshops, seminars, debates and end of year party.

Speaking with Shipping Position Daily in Lagos last week, Rector of the monotechnic; Mr. Chikere Chigozie however said that admission and registration are still ongoing for both old and new students.
According to him, lectures have commenced in earnest for old students while orientation courses have been programmed for new intakes.
He said that there will also be re-orientation courses for old students, noting that it will come shortly after the new intakes have completed their own programme.
The rector affirmed that there will also be a public lecture which will involve industry stakeholders and the media, which is expected to come up soon.
Chigozie further added that, "our academic activities this session will enjoy a boost with excursions, seminars, workshops and symposia are lined up"
Speaking further ,Chigozie noted that "for now, lectures have commenced, lecturers and students have resumed, life has once again returned to our campus after almost two months vacation."
"In all, our academic programme is undergoing a reforms, in other for us to produce professionals who would capture the market we must put more effort and also invest, so as to ensure competence.”, he added.
