The Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM) has inducted Mr Olayemi Moses Fadipe, a former Director of the Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) as one of its esteemed members. The induction ceremony took place last week at the Muson Centre in Lagos during the Institute’s annual event.
Fadipe, who served as the immediate past National Coordinator of the Presidential Port Standing Task Team and retired as the Director of the South West Zone of the NSC, was recognized for his significant contributions to the maritime sector. His investiture further cements his reputation as a leading figure in the Marine and Blue Economy.
In her congratulatory remarks, Dr. (Mrs.) Christiana Atako, the President and Chairman of the NIM Council, commended Comrade Fadipe for his outstanding achievements in the maritime industry. She urged all newly-inducted members to view their membership as a call to national service, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the dignity and honor that the Institute upholds.
Moses Fadipe is not only an accomplished maritime expert but also a celebrated author. His expertise has earned him various accolades, and he is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping, a Chartered Member of the International Dispute Resolution Institute, and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. Recently, he was also elected as a Council member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network in Brussels.
