In an interview with Shipping Position Daily, one of the pioneers of the association, Chief Austin Kelly said that an enlarged meeting of the association will soon be called with both Lucky Amiwero and Festus Ejiofor in attendance.
He said that the the pending court case by both factions has made it difficult for an election to be conducted.
Chief kelly said that there is need for both factional presidents to stop laying claim to the presidency and encourage young bloods to take over administration of the association.
Speaking, he said that "Very soon we are going to meet and call for a meeting where everybody including Lucky Amiwero himself will be invited to a round table, let us know the way forward, it is then we can ask both of them to step down and we will have a general election"
"Some of us are thinking that it is only through association that we can survive and this is the problem, without association money we cannot survive? To me we suppose to leave the new breeds to grow" Chief kelly stated.
