Osatuyi pledged the association’s support to government agencies charged with the responsibility of checking illegal refining of crude oil.
The scribe said that pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft were major challenges facing socio-economic development of the country.

The scribe said that pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft were major challenges facing socio-economic development of the country.
“Stakeholders in the maritime and oil and gas sector must rise up against these problems.
“We are ready to support the various initiatives of the Federal Government to stem this embarrassing trend of stealing our oil willfully going on in our country.
“ And government cannot claim not to be able to fight these scourges because we know it has the capability to do so,” he said.
Osatuyi decried the daily depletion of the nation’s earnings through crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism, adding that the masses were being shortchanged.
