Even as the case between the Attorney General of the federation and Mr. Lucky Amiwero is billed to come up at the federal High Court in Ikoyi on the 19th, July 2012 the case between the embattled freight forwarder and another practitioner over the presidency of National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents is to come up on the 24th, July 2012.
Shipping Position Daily confirmed last week Wednesday that Justice P.A Ajokwu has reserved the ruling for that date.

Mr. Lucky Amiwero had dragged Mr. Festus Ejiofor to court over the presidency of the National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents.
Confirming the date to our correspondent last week, counsel to Mr.Amiwero, Barrister Osuala Nwagbara disclosed that they are to wait for the outcome of the case between Mr. Amiwero versus the Attorney General of the Federation which is slated to hold on the 19th before that of NCMDLCA.
According to him, ‘’the case filled by National Trustee of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents against Chief Festus Ejiofor and others came at the federal high court .Before now Ejiofor and the defendant has filed a moment challenging the jurisdiction of the court to hear the case and the plaintiffs reacted to the application by firing a counter affidavit and written response to their own address’
He said, ‘’because of the connection of Chief Festus Ejiofor with the case being prosecuted by the Nigeria Customs Service and the Attorney General of the Federation, we have to raise a very important issue before the Federal High Court today [last week Wednesday].We informed the court that according to media report, Chief Ejiofor activated the ordeal of Mr. Lucky Amiwero even when the court has ordered his group to stop meddling into the affairs of NCMDLCA until the case is determine by the court’’.
He went further to say, ‘’we therefore asked the court to adjourn the matter till after the date fixed for the trial of Mr. Lucky Amiwero in the criminal case. The adjournment was able us to file affidavits of fact and place material before Justice P.A. Adokwu to show the connection between Chief Ejiofor in the disobedience of the order of Justice Ajokwu to the case against Lucky Amiwero.
According to Nwagbara, ’’that is to show that Chief Ejiofor is so closely connected to the travail of  Mr. Lucky Amiwero before the criminal court and that is an act of contempt of court’’
It would be recalled that the Federal High Court granted Mr. Amiwero bail between him and the Attorney General of the Federation in which a sum of N5million and a surety in the like sum.
The embattled factional National President of NCMDLCA was slammed with a four count charge by the Nigeria Customs Service at the federal high court in Ikoyi.
