There are indications that the facilities of MRS Oil and Gas which were badly damaged as result of last week’s explosion from a badge that was off-loading petroleum products will reopen for normal business today. This indication was given last weekend by the company’s group executive director, Mrs Amina Maina, when she conducted the minister of transport, Senator Idris Umar round the explosion site.

According to her, all things being equal, the company is likely to reopen today. But the minister disclosed that a committee would soon be set up to investigate the blast which which reportedly had some casualties.
