New NPA MD Effects Minor Redeployment Of Top Staffers

About 24 hours after he officially took charge as the new managing director, Nigerian Ports Authourity (NPA),Mallam Habib Abdullahi has effect some changes in the organisation.
In new ‘disposition’ which was signed personally by the managing director and which was obtained by Shipping Position Daily yesterday, the most senior assistant to the immediate past managing director, Christopher Bora who was special assistant has been redeployed to Abuja as head of the Abuja liaison office. He is to swap position with Buhari Abdullahi.

In new ‘disposition’ which was signed personally by the managing director and which was obtained by Shipping Position Daily yesterday, the most senior assistant to the immediate past managing director, Christopher Bora who was special assistant has been redeployed to Abuja as head of the Abuja liaison office. He is to swap position with Buhari Abdullahi.
  Also affected is Musa Ilya who has been redeployed back to the public affairs department as the assistant general manager. He was moved from there about two years ago to the special projects department.
In a marked departure from previous practices, the new helmsman has also appointed four personal assistants to take charge of engineering and technical services, operations and marine, legal and protocol.
Under the new dispensation, Nasir Ibrahim is in charge of protocols, Engr Isah Muktar Umar takes charge of engineering and technical services, while Durowaiye  Ayodele is in charge of operations and marine and Zhimwan Nansel Audu takes charge of legal services, all as personal assistants.
 Other appointments include: Wanka Ahmadu Yakubu; who has been redeployed from the managing directors office to the legal department , Engr Abdul Ibrahim Sani, redeployed to maintenance department, Danbatta Rabiu Musa redeployed to  the organisation’s London office.
