The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is ready to partner with all communities where it has corporate presence, as part of its renewed Community Relations Policy, the Managing Director, Malam Habib Abdullahi, has assured.
He gave the assurance in Lagos recently, while receiving a delegation from Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area which paid him a courtesy call.
The Managing Director assured the delegation that NPA will take special interest in the development of the area under its renewed community relations policy.

The Managing Director assured the delegation that NPA will take special interest in the development of the area under its renewed community relations policy.
He recalls that the authority had a long standing relationship with the Council, adding that the new management of the will continue to sustain the cordial relationship through enduring community related projects.
He reasoned that Nigerian Ports Authority is proud to be associated with Lagos Island being the centre of commerce which hosts several conglomerates in all sectors of the economy.
Earlier the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Kamal Salau – Bashua had congratulated the Managing Director on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure of office.
The occasion was witnessed by the three Executive Directors of NPA, Engr, David Omonibeke, in charge of Marine & Operations, Mr Mohammed Sani Saleh for Engineering & Technical Services, as well as Mr Olumide Odutan, for Finance & Administration.
