Reinstated local government chairmen in Osun State have paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, at his Iragbiji residence in a show of appreciation and unity.
The visit, which took place on Easter Monday, was led by Mr. Abiodun Idowu, Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON). The Chairmen expressed gratitude to the Minister for his unwavering support and critical role in their reinstatement.
Describing the moment as symbolic and heartfelt, the delegation highlighted Oyetola’s dedication to good governance and political inclusivity, saying his guidance was instrumental in their return to office.
In the same Easter spirit, Oyetola on Tuesday paid a visit to former Osun State Governor and APC National Leader, Chief Bisi Akande, at his residence in Ila, Osun State.
During the visit, both leaders exchanged Easter greetings and held discussions focused on national development, party unity, and leadership principles. Oyetola praised Chief Akande for his enduring legacy and commitment to democratic ideals, describing him as a pillar of progressive politics in Nigeria.
The two visits, according to observers, reflect a continued emphasis on loyalty, respect, and collaborative leadership across political ranks in Osun State.
