The Oodua Descendants Freight Forwarders Global Association has again endorsed Dr Farinto Kayode Collins as it’s sole Presidential Candidate for the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs (ANLCA), National Executive Committee ( NECOM), election coming up in July 2023.
The Freight Forwarders  group stated that their position to support Dr. Kayode Farinto bid to become the next President of ANLCA has not changed and will remain as such.
The President of the group; Segun Adefioye while briefing journalists on Thursday said their stance is that , they have endorsed and blessed Dr Farinto Kayode Collins as the next president of ANLCA, reiterating that he is the only one for now to lead the foremost freight forwarding association due to his antecedents.
He said his group has endorsed Dr Farinto as the Presidential Candidate as such they have no other candidate.
He also commended other groups like Igbo Maritime, ASIMPIN, the Eastern Zone of ANLCA for endorsing ‘their son’ for the ANLCA presidency. He further urged the Northern zone to support him too as the only candidate who has the integrity and what it takes to lead ANLCA at this period.
Also lending their voices to Dr Farinto Kayode’s emergence as ANLCA president,  some chieftains of the association, Alhaji Adebanjo, Elder Olusegun Ogunseye, Kehinde Oduala, Elder Sunday Oyebola among others all extol the immense contributions Dr Farinto has brought to the  to the growth and development of ANLCA, even as Vice and later Acting president.
They agreed that despite the fact that Farinto is their son, he is the most qualified now to be the President of ANLCA. They said  that since he came to them for support , they have given him their support and endorsement and no other candidate.
The group further assured other candidates who are vying for other positions and who have come to them for support, that they will surely support them.
The group further called on all Oodua Descendants Freight Forwarders Association members to all come together to support their son, Dr Farinto Kayode Collins, as the next president of ANLCA in the July 5th, NECOM election.
The reassurance is coming  on the heels  of another Presidential Candidate for the the ANLCA Election; Sir Emenike Nwokeoji who on Thursday in Port Harcourt Rivers State   also declared his campaign open.
