According to the Managing Director, in addition to this improvement, the volume of cargo passing through the ports has increased, adding that the NPA has also earned more revenue which has made it possible for it to embark on infrastructural development projects across the ports.
While appreciating the maximum support given to the agency by the Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar in recent times; he commended the efforts and tenacity of the organizers of NIMAREX.
He also noted further that Nigerian Ports Authority as a gateway to the Nigerian economy will continue to associate with and support the NIMAREX project, particularly on the theme which is “100 years of maritime development in Nigeria”.
