SIFAX Logistics Company Limited, a subsidiary of the SIFAX Group, has contributed modern office equipment to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). The items consist of two air conditioners, a refrigerator, an executive office table, and a chair.
During the handover ceremony in Lagos; Mr Basil Agboarumi, the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Governmental Relations at SIFAX Group, emphasized that the donation reflects the company’s dedication to engaging with stakeholders across all sectors where it operates, both locally and internationally. He highlighted SIFAX’s alignment with LASTMA’s vision of ensuring smooth traffic flow for Lagosians.
Also speaking, Mr Adewale Adetayo, General Manager of SIFAX Logistics Company Limited, reiterated that the gesture aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between SIFAX and LASTMA, while also supporting the agency’s newly-appointed General Manager. Adetayo emphasized the importance of LASTMA as a key stakeholder in transportation and traffic management, expressing confidence in the new leadership’s ability to advance the agency’s mission.
In response, Bakare-Oki Olalekan, General Manager of LASTMA, expressed gratitude for the donation, underscoring the agency’s commitment to effective traffic management. He assured that his team is motivated to fulfill this mandate and appreciated SIFAX’s contribution towards enhancing LASTMA’s operations.
