A breakdown of the revenue shows that the command collected N714, 884,441million from the 1% CISS under the Non-Federation account.

While speaking on the influx of unwanted persons into the Tin Can port as it affects its revenue, especially the infamous ‘Anyman Canteen' Osunkwo said that the canteen can only be closed down by the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA).
According to him, "even though we have the power to carry out raids as their activities affect us, the NPA is the landlord of the port, and only they can close down the place".
He said that on many occasions, the Customs has complained to the NPA about the nefarious activities taking place at the canteen, but that it (NPA) has refused to do anything about the building.
