The management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has extended its felicitations to the Muslim community in Nigeria and the maritime sector on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.NIMASA’s Director General, Dr Dayo Mobereola, conveyed this message in a statement issued by the agency’s Head of Public Relations, Mr. Edward Osagie, on Sunday in Lagos.
Mobereola described the celebration as a joyous occasion marking the end of Ramadan—a period of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal.
He emphasised that the values of compassion, unity, and generosity embraced during Ramadan were essential for fostering harmony and progress in society.
“At NIMASA, we remain committed to ensuring a safer, more prosperous, and globally competitive maritime sector, reflecting the resilience and dedication of all stakeholders.
“As we celebrate, let us continue to uphold the principles of integrity, cooperation, and service to our nation,” Mobereola said.
